The Brief:
Students were tasked to create a self promotional zine to show off their skills, by integrating type and visuals.
This zine is the real guide for new parents, but with an unexpected surprise.
In the start it might seem as if it is how to take care for a child but eventually
the penny drops and and it become prevalent that it is a guide for new plant owners.
The concept is strengthened through handling the zine like an heirloom.
The heirloom that this zine is based on is of a baby’s christening dress and an old
family album that has been passed through the family for generations.
