The challenge of this campaign was to get as many BOV staff and customers as possible to register their wish to become organ donors until Valentine’s Day.  
During the initial brief, the words "life saver" immediately evoked nautical images. But it was such an obvious connection that I was sure it had already been done before. So imagine my surprise when I couldn't find anything similar online!

The first element that was designed was the pin, since it needed to go to production.

I didn't want to over-do the nautical theme, so instead of using the traditional navy blue and bright red, I chose a more muted colour scheme. 
During the week leading to Valentine’s day, customers were encouraged to hand in an application at any of our BOV Branches.

Bank of Valletta made a monetary donation to The Transplant Support Group Malta for every application form it received.
