Exploring Photoshop in Antarctica

Here are a few Before and After photos of me exploring several Photoshop features while getting acquainted with the software.

King Penguins at St Andrew's Bay, South Georgia
I applied a black and white adjustment layer to the original photo then edited the mask to reintroduce the oranges and yellows of the two King Penguins in the foreground.
MV Ocean Endeavour in Port Foster, Deception Island
Here I used the Content-Aware Fill tool to remove the MV Ocean Endeavour from the image then used the Spot Healing brush to remove the smaller boats.
Cape Renard, Antarctic Peninsula (Photoshop 2021)
A candidate for Sky Replacement followed by a colour balance adjustment.  This resulted in the sea being slightly too red so I applied another colour balance to the selected water.
Gerlache Strait, Antarctic Peninsula (Photoshop 2021)
I applied the style of the Great Wave of Kangawa to this photograph using the Style Transfer neural filter.  Unfortunately, my now ageing MacBook Pro is having a lot of difficulty with these but this one turned out really well!
With the Gentoo Penguins at Jougla Point (Photoshop 2021)
I first used the Smart Portrait neural filter to change my straight face into a happy smile, which required a little bit of teeth whitening with a brush and opacity!  For a bit of extra fun I then added plush toys of a King and a Chinstrap Penguin into the background!  To get the lighting right I adjusted the vibrancy to each.
Portal Point, Antarctic Peninsula (Photoshop 2022)
A candidate for the landscape neural filter, first applying the base image followed by setting Autumn to about 75% and sunset to around 50%.  I then used a colour adjustment on myself for more sunset colours.  Finally I applied a sunset image using Sky Replacement.
