This was the first assignment for my Drawing in Motion class, and the first real animation after the first course I took in 2D animation, in which we only drew bouncing balls, and arms ringing doorbells and such.
The jump was referenced from a series of pictures from Muybridge's "The Human Figure in Motion" and the idea was to take one action, repeat it a few times, and then follow along with it in our own way. I added the twis at the end with the buttefly, and the musci I chose for it, which I synced the piece to, is the soundtrack called "Home Sweet Home" by Christopher Herald, from the video game, "Beyond Good and Evil".
