As part of the Cleveland Browns' transition to a new collaborative working model that integrates football and business operations, the team's training complex and offices underwent a transformation that aimed to embody this fresh approach. DLR Group's design concept embraces an open and inclusive work environment, characterized by transparency and ample natural light. The modern space not only pays homage to the Cleveland Browns' legacy and tradition but also radiates energy and vitality, establishing a progressive identity for the team. This forward-thinking identity is conveyed through various elements, including large-scale imagery, branding, material choices, contours, and vibrant sweeps of color. Collectively, these considerations work in harmony to invigorate the staff and foster a renewed sense of teamwork while exemplifying the team's values.
Scope Summary
In this award winning project, the second level of the facility underwent a comprehensive renovation encompassing approximately 37,000 square feet, while the first floor also received a partial renovation. The revamped work environment now accommodates a diverse staff of 160 individuals, including executives, financial and legal personnel, coaches, player personnel staff, scouts, corporate sales representatives, ticket sales agents, marketing professionals, content producers, creative services team members, community outreach staff, and information technology specialists. The newly designed space features an extensive array of wall graphics showcasing the legendary figures of the Cleveland Browns (including Jim Brown, Otto Graham, Lou Groza) throughout the decades. To curate these visuals, DLR Group gained access to the photo archives of the esteemed Pro Football Hall of Fame. For this project, DLR Group provided comprehensive services in architecture, interior design, and experiential graphic design.
