The Liberation of Ohio

 

This is a commission piece I worked on last month. Im still taking commissions so contact to start a illustration project!

This piece depicts the war for The secession of Ohio from the United States, adorably led by Leo and The Baby. My client loves Starbucks Coffee and hates Dunkin’ Donuts which is why the Dunkin’ Donuts sign has been blown over the the battle is rather befittingly taking place in front of the Starbucks that was once a bank in Columbus Ohio. Leo is bringing the artillery and wit while The Baby is passionate and wise! If the passion in The Baby’s eyes weren’t evident enough the fighter jets flying over the Ohio state flag drives the prideful feeling home! And the UFOS are just for fun. My original inspiration for this piece was Rambo meets Mad Max! Super fun and I love the creativity!
