VC architects is a full service architectural studio offering each client a combination of imaginative design, expertise, and intense involvement. The logo for this studio was designed in 2019, keeping minimalism as the niche value of the brand.
A simple and confident 2 color palette. Layout becomes a strong part of the identity in itself. With space exaggerated and tension created while precise modular grids are used to bring it all together in an orderly way. Tactility is a major component to the identity, with the ‘SPACE’ concept coming to life by laser cutting the monogram through thick laminated black card. Attention to craft also gets shown by the use of screen printing white and color matched black stitching.
The symbol consists of the Initials of the studio’s founder. The “V” and “C” characters are interlocked in quite an intricate fashion, yet they stay pretty legible. The visual identity of the brand is composed of a monogram, which is also used for the brands stationery.
