When Sports Stood Still shows how Covid-19 mirrors 1918’s pandemic influenza, the ramifications of both pandemics touched all parts of society, including sports.
The fanzine is trying to show the similarities and the differences between 2020’s coronavirus pandemic and the 1918’s Spanish flu. Just over 100 years later, history has repeated itself.
All photographs are monochromatic blue or red. The photos from the past are blue, and the contemporary ones are red.
