Photography/Typography Interaction

I love making designs in which text interacts with the elements of a photo. Photography meets typography meets simplicity. All photos and designs my own.
Gorillaz Tribute Concert

I once played bass in a Gorillaz tribute concert benefitting Operation Underground Railroad. Hard to get photos of yourself when you're the photographer, but I still love how these shots of my friends turned out.
Backpacking Olympic National Park

By far one of the best outdoor experiences I've had. The Washington coast is gorgeous, and great friends made it all the better.

Typeface significance:
Sans serif is National Park, which was designed to emulate the look of router-cut lettering on wooden signs throughout our national parks.
Serif is Marseille, which appears on informational signage throughout Olympic National Park.
Bannack State Park

On a class trip to a ghost town in Montana's Bannack State Park, I was fascinated by the amount of vandalism. While usually very averse to vandalism, I was struck by the odd beauty of it in a place like a ghost town.
