My friends were planning a big wedding with lots of fun and dancing on July 11, which, as you may know, is also National Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven. Having both a great sense of humor and great taste in convenience store beverages, they wanted to have custom designed cups and rent a Slupree machine (which would have been iconic and delicious!) As with many engaged couples in 2020, they had to postpone a big celebration until a very unknown time in the very unknown future. Taking everything in stride, they were luckily able to have an intimate and safe ceremony with close family and their dog Piper! I can't wait until we can safely have a big party and celebrate love (and hopefully surviving a pandemic) one day with ceremonial Slurpees!
In the meantime, 7-Eleven, if you ever see this, can you hook us up with a machine for the big day? 😘
