Plukkido.hu website redesign
The project
Plukkido is developing digital and physical tools helping parents manage everyday parental issues by encouraging them to recognise positive behaviour.
The goal of the project was to redesign the entire site structure and content, focusing visitors’ attention on their newest digital products.
As a UX designer my assignment covered research and feedback analysis up until the UI phase.Throughout the project I collaborated with a copywriter, the CEO and the CTO.
The greatest challenge was to filter down the huge amount of the existing page content and find the focus points based on the discovered user journeys.
1., Understanding the user behaviours through analytics
Google Analytics charts were showing that approximately 80% of the visitors are checking the site from their mobile, so we decided to take a mobile-first approach. We also saw that many of the pages on the original website are not visited recently or at all in the past year, so we needed to select the type of content which performed well and focus on promoting that type of content on the new site.
2., Identifying the possible user flows
10+ critical real life situations (defiance, aggression, patience) were uncovered with which Plukkido can offer support to parents successfully and the company has the necessary expertise. These situations were the perfect starting points of our user journeys.
3., Wireframing while creating the fresh content
Kept parts of what was working and structured the content in a clear and consistent way.
4., Creating the high fidelity prototype and implementing feedbacks
Using an existing UI kit, page layouts started to formulate in Figma. After implementing feedback from stakeholders, I could hand over the project to a graphic designer for illustration.
Check out this short demo how the homepage and the payment process looks like.
