Illustrator on the iPad Typographic Album Challenge

The Illustrator on iPad Beta group was challenged to create an album cover utilizing and exploring the type tools in Illustrator on iPad. We were told to listen to your favorite music for inspiration, then create an album artwork with the type tools in Illustrator on iPad. Use type as a graphic element and show us details like track lists, producers, and copyright info while exploring these new type tools.
When trying to decide which album cover I want to create I decided to go a different approach and choose a soundtrack over a typical band cover. I was inspired by the Tony hawk pro skater video game which has recently been remastered.
My experience from utilizing illustrator on the iPad for this project I found I was able to quickly find fonts that inspired the grungy skater style through the categories menu quickly along with also giving me the option to download fonts I had on my computer into my Creative Cloud account to utilize while on the iPad.
Above you will see a time lapse of my workflow as I go through and outline the sketch I made on the iPad. I then pushed the artwork to the desktop through the cloud document system adobe has implemented in illustrator recently to where I grinded out the rest of this project within a little over 3 hours.
