Redesign of Amazon.com's five star rating system

Amazon.com
Project Description:  Amazon.com's priority is helping their customers judge products and rate those products on a 5-star scale and the user will often write comments that relate to the rating they gave the product . likewise, the user can rate the comment that is given. Our Team's job was the following

“Create a more compelling web design for Amazon than exists today; it may be a complete overhaul of their current design or it may be a slight variation. Of course, there needs to be a strong rationale for your choices. For this project, the target user group includes adult consumers (18 and older).”-Marty Seigel
First prototype sketch including a pro and con bar based on the number of pros and con 5 star rating that were currently present.
After a paper usability test I included major problems that the user encountered with the new system.
Redesign based on the usability test. Concept where the screen moves up much like a garage door exposing the pro and con reviews below. This consolidates the reviews in one page and removes unnecessary linked pages that cause more code and making the page more natural and enjoyable experience for users.
Final design with slider window that moves up and incorporates both screens into one by taking off the meter bar and repacing it with a half-circle meter that has words in the middle saying “show review” with an arrow pointing up. Additionally, stars appear above the half-circle meter.
