This has been a year, hasn't it? From the threat of murder hornets to a global pandemic, and then heading into a presidential election, this is surely a year we won't be forgetting any time soon.
This was done as a warm up doodle to get my mind working for a commission. The COVID germ and the world wearing a mask for the 0's in 2020 came naturally to me. Finding replacement objects for letters and or numbers within a word is fun for me, and I love to see how flawlessly I can match things up. The font I chose for the 2's shows a distressed cityscape, which I thought rather fitting for the message I was conveying.

A simple second version for fun, with a splattered distressed font to add to it. Not sure which I like best!
