A Small Project I undertook during pride month! I had Seen a lot of Pride Merch advertised to me on Instagram during June, much of which looked, less than stellar, to my taste. It was either very shamefully plain, or very out of touch. It was very easy to see that whoever made it, thought that slapping a pride flag onto a white T-shirt, or simply writing 'LOVE' in rainbow colors, Dead center, Was truly the peak of Design and would give you Good Boy points.

When to me personally, it only showed how out of touch these people must have been. Not only are there many different pride flags to choose from, to at least make your marketing more specific and perhaps connecting better to the individual consumer, and therefor making it more successful. But It is also clear that none of them are familiar with the terminology used within the Community that could also, make the people relate to your merch more.

To me, writing 'love is love' or 'love for everyone' sounded a little too Lovey Dovey, I am the kind of person who likes to make jokes. So I thought, What if 'I love everyone equally' doesn't work. It sounds Unrealistic, and has such a moralizing tone, when the younger generation is more and more edgy and makes use of irony and sarcasm. So I thought, why not reverse it.

"I hate everyone Equally" Now it sounds less like you are a kindergarten teacher trying to make all the kids get along. It sounds more real, more relatable, and also, more funny. Because it isn't completely serious.
