Stuck is a hilarious comedy. Both Javicia and Hari were excellent at their craft. This film was shot mostly at night over a 3 night period in June which has the longest days of the year. We scrambled every night, we had a lot of shots and a very small crew. The actors nailed their performances which helped due to the limited window of time we were working with. They were amazing and have great futures ahead. Javicia Leslie was casted as Batwomen on the CW network. She is going to kill it. This short film took on a life of it's own on the festival circuit. It racked up well over 50 official selections to many festivals around the country and even won the Juror's Prize at the Diversity in Cannes Film Festival in 2019. It was also nominated for best Cinematography at the Black Film Festival of New Orleans (BFFNO). It is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
