A 2019 Christmas postcard project for Gillian. Specific instruction was to create a design that contains a Filipino Christmas greeting "Maligayang Pasko" in script lettering.
Inital sketches done using pen and paper, then scanned to be rendered digitally using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
What I really loved doing for this project are the color studies! I let her pick one that she loved most.
We combined two studies from the designs above.
I used Kyle T. Webster's brushes for the lettering and other elements. The leaves and other ornaments were drawn digitally.
