CANNABIS GROW FACILITY FOR MEDICAL PURPOSE

Location: Kochani, North Macedonia
The case of study here is an industrial facility for growing cannabis for medicinal and pharmaceutical purposes in the North Republic of Macedonia and abroad. Following the regulation for the control of narcotics and psychotropic substances, the process of regulated production of medicinal cannabis started in 2016. Recreational use of marijuana is still forbidden.
The focus of this master thesis is creating a new industrial facility inspired by the newest global trends, meanwhile placing a new product on the market. This modern architectural composition is shaped and formed to blend in with its surrounding, keeping the function of nearby objects unobstructed and becoming a facility with a personality and identity.
