Personal Project - Pen and Watercolour

Inspired by the naughty banksia men in 'Snugglepot and Cuddlepie' written by 18th century author May Gibbs. My interpretation depicts two 'banksia ladies' who are not particularly evil, they have just had a few too many wines at the end of the night! I drew this couple of likely sorts after I found an amazing pair of banksia pods in Uraidla (Adelaide Hills).
