The weather, the altitude, even a roasting style can make a difference. Take Italian Roast, for example, it isn't originally from Italy, but a unique way how you make them. To be precise, they have to be roasted between 437°F- 446°F, to reach the oily rich, dark color. Most of the barista tend to use them to make an Espresso.
淺從咖啡豆產地的環境氣候，深到烘豆的程度等因素，皆會影響到咖啡的香氣及口感。以有Italian Roast之稱的義式咖啡為例，就是經過數次熱量傳遞，讓豆體表面呈現黑色油光，烘到豆子產生濃厚的煙燻味為止，讓這種豆子磨出來的咖啡，泛著極致苦澀的風味。
