FISP’s vision is to help stop suicide by offering assistance to all those who suffer or are contemplating suicide and to all those who are effected by the suicide of a loved one, by providing the alternatives of hope, support, and resources to all.
I wanted to approach FISP's visual identity as gentle as possible. This non-profit organization needed a logo that was approachable and welcoming. I wanted to take into consideration the four adjectives they stand for: education, support, advocacy, and research. I made sure to implement the visual imagery of the power of four. I also didn't know how to approach this subject since it's very touchy so instead of looking for stock images I decided to conduct and photograph studies of ballons floating and dancing in the sky.
