This project includes a range of illustrations done for a beautiful African folklore tale retold by a modern storyteller. The aim for this project was to bring old traditions to a new generation. These tales are then translated in 16 different languages and shared across different countries to give children from all over the world a chance to read real African tales.

While teaching important life lessons, children also get a chance to develop their love of reading and language. Sharing contemporary African stories is also important, for children from elsewhere to partake in the rich storytelling tradition and experience a positive picture of the vibrant cultures in Africa.
