MAD LIB PROJECT
I created three pieces that were monochromatic using photoshop.
For my first mad lib my project was based off  "a falling(verb) monkey(s) (noun) using phones(technology)  in/on a/the skyscraper(noun)."
I started off by getting my brushes ready. I created my own brush of a monkey by using a photo off of google, then I downloaded skyscraper brushes off of brusheezy.
For my first layer I used a brush of a futuristic mountain then made the ground below black. With the architecture brushes I downloaded, I started placing buildings along the road, using multiple colors to give the building depth. To get the road, I used a picture off of the internet and made a brush.
Next, I added a few more buildings and placed my subject building up front where the monkeys would be falling off. I kept this building transparent because the background behind it looked like a reflection on the building, giving it a mirror effect. For the sky I made it a solid grey color, adding light blue clouds found on brusheezy.
For the final touches I added the monkeys and the phones. I placed them so they would appear to be falling from the closest building. The phone brush I made with an image of an iPhone off of google.
For the last thing I used a soft black brush to make subtle shadows of buildings
For my second mad lib it was going to have "a frog( noun) riding(verb) camel(noun) in/on a/the desert(noun)."
First I made a solid background color, then added a brush of the desert over it. Next, I looked on google for an image of a camel walking and made a brush. Since my theme is monochromatic, I used multiple shades of blue on the camel to give depth.
For my next step I added the frog on top of the camel. I used dark blues for the frog so it would stand out more. Also, I changed the background color to a lighter blue so it would not take away the focus of the animals and added a shadow.
Lastly, I added sand dust to the piece using blue and white. On the right you can see my layers.
For my third and final mad lib it features "a tall(adjective) camera(noun) hovering(verb) people(noun) by/on  the street(noun)."

I started off again by placing a solid blue background layer then added the street view brush on top.
Next, I needed to add the hovering camera above the street. I chose a picture with hands holding the camera because it could give the illusion that someone bigger than humans records our every move. The arms were not long enough to reach the edge of the piece so I used splatter brushes to make it seem the arm was dissolving.
Then I added the person in the street who is pointing up to the camera. I used dark blue to make the person, and liked the look of it more, so I made the camera the same color.
For the final touch I added a shadow for the woman, but not the camera because it is supposed to be like a ghost. My layers for this project are shown on the right.
