Яндекс.Учебник is online learning platform, created by Russian IT-giant Yandex. It gives children all around Russia free access to the online education according school program.
The aim was to create key visual for the conference dedicated to distance learning. I was looking for the universal symbol of online connection and knowledge transported between teachers and students. Key visual was meant to be simple, powerful and follow branding guidelines.
I have chosen paper plane as the key visual. This plane flies from one screen to another, sending information and connecting students. Paper planes are the powerful means
of communication for children and keep geometrical aesthetics and cheerful humor
at the same time.
In addition, children faces support the color scheme and simple style of illustration.
Key visual was implemented in 3 different formats: first part of landing, web-banner and leaflet:
