“Birch Forest” gouache miniature painting was one of a quick plein air which I did a couple months ago in June on primed “cupcake” piece of cardboard 3x3 inches.
There was a storm around 1.5 months ago and a birch tree falled right opposite of our window. So we collected some birch bark pieces. And it was very handful for this photoshoot.
