SELF-PORTRAIT: HOMELESS
The goal of this project was to “create a self-portrait of something that I am not” so I attempted to imagine myself as a homeless person. During this time I did the things I thought a homeless person might do to try and experience what it would be like to walk a mile in their shoes.

The final image (above) was taken under a bridge where I found homeless people were sleeping. I printed the image on newsprint and hung it outside, exposed to the elements, for a week before considering the image complete.
