My take on the most awesome Learn Squared course under the guidance of the mighty Ash Thorp. The goal was to create few high quality styleframes for the narrative about an abstract HEX object. I highly recommend that class! Student has to overcome many challenges on the way, but the overall process is very informative and rewarding.
During the whole process we had to tackle numerous requirements from creative brief. Constantly being reminded about things that are necessary to convey we had to address ideas such as: data complexity, many layers of depth, beautiful aesthetics, similarity to flock of sparrows, ancient symbols yet universal design, neumerics, textures of information... so on and so forth.
Besides the invaluable insights from Ash, the key factor in this amazing course is utilization of knowledge from several softwares. It was expected to combine different approaches into one and deliver unique outcome. The final goal was to create coherent, graphical piece that would communicate strong cinematic feel.
