About Ashley McDonald Floral Studio
Ashley McDonald grew up around florals and gardening. From an early age she discovered her passion. After college After graduation, Ashley moved to St. Louis and began work at Baisch & Skinner Wholesale Florist, where she started as a fresh-cut flower buyer and purchasing manager. She had the great opportunity to tour some of the largest and best-cut flower farms in the world while studying and learning many of the cut-flowers growing processes. Ultimately, allowing me Ashley appreciate the full floral process, from the cut in the field to the bride's bouquet on her wedding day. In 2017 she was given an opportunity to open the former Poppies Design Studio. Poppies currently designs an estimated 100 weddings per year, as well as collaborating with many corporate clients for events in the St. Louis area. With time on her side, Ashley re-envisioned Poppies Design Studio to her own name and brand. Brand Essense
The re-brand is to reflect Ashely and the vision for a unique and one of a kind experience for her clients. Materials and products used to create floral creations are high end and luxurious, that should be reflected through physical goods across the brand. This high end fashion market is very classic and elegant with hints of color. Attention to detail and sophistication is represented throughout strong type treatment and a light floral color palette. The final outcome is a new look that is bespoke, delicate, classic, with a little unexpected surprises.

Creative Considerations
Floral studio branding can be very trendy and all look the same. For Ashley, she truly is one of a kind in St. Louis and her brand needed to embody her attenton to detail and uniqueness. Personal limitations included No flowers, No cursive or script font.

Behind the logo
