The client for this project, a well known company based in Beijing, bought an underconstrucction building in order to set there their new headquarters.The plot, located in very good area in Beijing, has a peculiar triangular shape, with facades to Shunguang W. Rd. and Taiyanggong S. St., and a North facade facing to the channel. This shape allows the building to appear detached in the middle of the city, and become a landmark and the company’s label by itself. Two options were delivered to the client. In the first one, the building shows itself like a piece of alive nature in the middle of the city. A transparent facade wraps the triangular shape, allowing to see the interior design from the outside, through a pattern of trees taken from Yuangmingyuan. The night view is very important in this first option, the building becomes a box sorrounded by trees, full of colour lights, being a real landmark in that point of the city, making the location of the headquarters well known for everybody in Beijing.
