Northern Virginia Transportation Authority’s TransAction Brand Identity Public Outreach Standards
A distinctive logo for NVTA’s TransAction was designed to both maintain the link to NVTA and still have its own identity. The newly designed TransAction brand was documented in a guideline showing the approved fonts and colors, as well as key communication templates to ensure brand integrity and consistency.
Templates were created for: Stationery (letterhead, letterhead (alternate), press release, press release (alternate), information cards), Communication Outreach (email template, fact sheets, newsletters), Presentation Materials (report, PowerPoint), Meeting Materials (sign-in sheet, comment form, name badge), Meeting Signage (wayfinding signs, meeting posters, podium sign). Most of these were delivered as Microsoft Word template files since most users would be non-designers.
