My project is called "Lifeline" because the dash between the years of life on the gravestones represents the entire path the person has made from cradle to the grave. Everyone has a unique life, but the dash is the same for everyone. I tried to fit an entire human life into one dash that starts with birth and continues until the last breath. The only question I ask myself is how to fit a whole life into one short line? To me this work is based on an average human life. This particular worldview was formed by many factors and discontents I had in my life. Of course yours is different. There's no doubt about that. But trust me you'll be able to fit your life into this dash as well.

Мой проект называется «Черта жизни» потому, что черточка между годами жизни на могильных камнях олицетворяет весь путь человека, независимо от того, каким он был. У каждого своя неповторимая жизнь, но черта все та же. Я попыталась воплотить маленькое тире в рассказ о жизни. И главный вопрос, который я задаю — как уместить всю свою жизнь в эту линию? Работа основана на типичной (немного стереотипной) для меня человеческой жизни, представление о которой у меня сложилось посредством многих факторов и недовольств. У вас она определенно другая, и вы, несомненно, уж поверьте, запихнете ее в свою черту.
