Above is some of the development work on the project. I started with three distinct approaches, before choosing to work with the textured, paint-like option. This textural approach is messy and casual, and stylistically linked to the video game central to the brief, Splatoon.

From there I developed this further through feedback with the client, exploring several possibilities to best communicate the mark's relation to esports commentary, and explored potential colour palettes.
