From Military to Civilian Life 'Fatigue'

Exploring areas of mental health as an extension project for University to produce a collection of Editorial pieces to communicate through imagery. This is a collection of speculative illustrations produced digitally through the software Procreate showcasing different forms of mental health that could affect military personal as they transition from service back to civilian life like trauma such as PTSD, Depression, Drugs, Loneliness, Anxiety and Panic Attacks ect.

I believe that an image can have more impact than words by showing an array of meanings allowing the viewer to take away their own impression. Whilst this topic has no personal relation to me I felt it was important to share the message that whilst many people can come away from military life and readjust quickly back to normal there are those that have a harder time even over simple issues.

Due to having a limited amount of time on this project I regret not being able to explore more into how gender is affected within the military. For my hand in it was suggested I add a tag such as the Samaritans however this is only speculative work.
