REFORMATION CONCEPT STORE
With life, there always comes movement. Nature’s roar of a crashing waterfall, sunlight dancing on waves in the sea, long grass blowing through a breeze. The way that humans move in harmony with nature, making it so that one can’t exist without the other. Creating a space where nothing feels stagnant by using leading lines which guide the eye. Organic shapes reminiscent of rocks are scattered across the floor. Wooden slat shelving inspired by fencing creates paths through the space.
Located in the heart of Tokyo's Harajuku district, this sustainable women's fashion brand comes to life in a conceptual design that places emphasis on natural colours and textures.

The concrete display tables are seemingly part of the floor, rising out of it like boulders from the ground. Wooden slat display shelves are reminiscent of fencing, which adds to the feeling of being outdoors. The shelves are scattered throughout the space in an abstract fashion, acting as a guide to customers and leading them through each corner of the store.
The ceiling is designed using different levels in order to create the feeling of space and make certain areas feel more private. Lower hanging suspended pieces are finished in a cream coloured wood fiber, which controls echo. Cloud-like glass light fixtures hang down and add balance to the space.
