Mandala of Women's Sanity

Mandala, a term derived from Sanskrit, refers to a circular geometric shape that carries distinct meanings and represents diverse ideologies. Mandala holds immense significance in Asian culture as a symbolic representation of spiritual tradition.
In my interpretation, my Mandala draws inspiration from Indian customs and embodies the essence of women's sanity. The design prominently features long, beautifully decorated hair reminiscent of bridal hairstyles. The vibrant red section represents the sindoor, a red dot worn along the parting of hair by married Hindu women. It symbolizes the mental fortitude, strength, empowerment, and courage of women, and serves as a tribute to their resilience.
