The DRI Foundation was created to help DRI with the funding necessary to fulfill its mission. One of the many special fundraising programs is the Donate Your Car campaign. Through this campaign and Vehicles for Charity, accepted vehicles can be towed free of charge, regardless of their conditions, from two to four days after requesting. Vehicles such as automobiles, motorcycles, and even boats and tractors are sold to a salvage company or at auction. All the money earned from the selling is donated to the DIR Foundation, and it is tax-deductible.
