A Night At The Movies
We were tasked with creating 2 movie posters, one for the film Goodfellas and another film of our choosing with a graphic design restriction of 3 solid colours that must also have an ethical or sustainable theme,
story or message.
We also had to compose a flyer for a theatre where the two films will be projected.

For my final poster,I wanted it to represent the movie and
the best way to do this was to make the face of

an avatar the centre piece of the poster. Also I added “woodspirtes” which are the seeds of the tree of souls. I was inspired by the scene when the wood sprites all landed on Jake Sully , in a way foreshadowing that he would save Pandora from his own species and become one of the Na'vi people .

After watching the “Goodfellas” movie my concept for the movie poster was inspired by the beginning scene .
The three main characters are filmed behind their Chevy Impala Convertible with the red brake light illuminating their faces as they aggressive kill a man in their trunk with a knife and gun.

Drive-In Movie Theatre Flyer
For my final concept for my flyer design, I was inspired by signs found in Trinidad and Tobago that are seen nailed to electrical posts on the side of the road. These signs are there to advertise Parties/fetes and carnival celebrations, they provide people with the necessities like location , date, name of party and
sometimes special guests.
I love the boldness and vibrance of the colours used, and the way that the signs are hand painted and imperfect in the way it is completed.
