Motivation behind designing Tabata Timer
For the past few years I've been focusing heavily on my health and fitness. And as part of that, I had been working out regularly at the gym.
But, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit us, I had to change things up for myself - going to the gym was no longer an option. I had to find a way to stay fit and active at home!
After some research, I found Tabata Training, a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, and started to enjoy working outs at home. I tried a few different Tabata timing apps, but I often found the experience complicated and confusing, so I came up with a cleaner, easier to use interface.
What is Tabata?
Tabata training is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. The workout pattern is 20 seconds work followed by 10 seconds, and this pattern is repeated for 4 minutes, and you move to the next circuit, often with a break of 30 seconds between circuits
