Brief
My mom asked me to design a visual identity for her homemade honey business. She wanted the logo to be clean and simple, to capture her love of experimenting and making new flavors.

Honey Hive
The idea behind Honey Hive started by encouraging families to eat healthy honey with many original flavors. My mom kept mixing honey with different fruits and nuts/seeds, the most successful product was Raspberry Honey.

Research
I start by brainstorming keywords that are related to honey and hive. After that, I collect inspiration images representing the keywords. Then I create a mood board with all the designs with the same aesthetic as those inspiration images. In the end, I did sketching using all the ideas that I had been connecting in my head.

Strategy
connecting the word hive and honey, I took the honey stick shape made it into black bars separated with gold ratio spacing between them. Then I took the color pattern of the Wasp and used the black and yellow stripes. Lastly, combined them both inside a hexagon that represents the hive.

Execution
The product has high demand as people care more about their health and lifestyle choices. Honey Hive's biggest market right now is custom-made honey jars for weddings and other similar services. And with a limited marketing budget with only word of mouth of our customers, the product is getting the attention of international sellers who want to sponsor the product to nearby counties.
