As part of an Elective course, I chose to do a course that dealt with copper enameling and glass. Here we learnt how to treat copper and how to enamel it using various techniques.
The final product, a small art piece that was an creative translation of a sea shell, which was the inspiration. The texture and treatment are meant to replicate the sand on beaches, the waves and the form and colour of the shell.
