Qualcomm are at the fore front of 5G technology, redefining the way people communicate, anywhere, at any time and on any device. To usher in this new “Invention Age” we were asked to develop a new experiential visual language that would evolve Qualcomm’s own communications and immerse visitors in the brand ethos.

We took a layered approach to the graphic identity and spatial design, Qualcomm’s technology is hidden deep within consumer devices, powering the epicentre of innovation so compositions and identity elements used a combination of extruded and inverted layers to draw its audience through the story. These framed dynamic, vibrant lifestyle imagery, iconography and direct aspirational messaging.

This created a holistic language across a series of technology exhibitions, business centres, TED talk conferences and brand centres to reach its core B2B audience. Bringing a new dimensionality to the extruded layer forms, encouraging consumers to journey through layers of information and discover the 5G revolution. 

The minimalistic colour palette and white framing devices allowed each space to reflect a modern, relaxing environment that would translate across Qualcomm’s many national markets.
