Yangon, Myanmar 2018.
Sai Woon Nge, known by his stage name AJOHN, is one of the most prominent DJs and Producers within the Yangon electronic music scene. Looking to rebrand his aesthetic in late 2018, he approached me to design a fresh, new logo identity inspired by those of death metal bands.
The second option was ultimately chosen, and finalized after some touch-up.
