The Sketch Earring

This set of jewelry was developed in the subject "jewelry design" that I took last semester. We had at out disposal a lab and all the tools we needed to manufacture our designs.  We ourselves soldered sterling silver, made the wires and plates, polished and buffed.
I sketched a lot until I reached a satisfying result, however, my inexperience with manufacturing jewelry made some problems a little difficult to solve. I wanted to work with wires just as I wanted to work with lines in a paper. I didn't want nothing solid, I wanted to play with empty spaces an sillhouettes in a fluid motion.
Final product, in 950 silver. The set is composed of an earcuff and an earring that when used appear as one jewelry.
Jewelry in use.
