Minimal dive watch
This watch should appeal to the wider range of MVMT customers and
update and replace the existing Modern Sport with refreshed minimal design. Targeting the adventurous demographic who is living life to the fullest.

Brief and design
Create a watch for the brand core custommer in the 44-46mm size range. The dial should be stripped back and graphic with re -imagined geometric markings of classic dive watches, but keeping the layout very minimal and sparse.
The goal was to achieve bulkier watch hands with clean dial and reflector. Utilizing the crown guard to add more muscle to the look.
Bezel
The minimal bezel was cleaned up from all the markers, yet remained functional. 15 minute marker is clean metal slate with polished finish.
Construction
3mm thick crystal allowed 10ATM water resistance. Massive crown guard and double dial construction added to the sturdiness of the watch.
Straps and bracelets
A silicone strap with textured inner side or a classic 3 link bracelet for the dressy option. Waterproof leather was also eventually added and became a strong marketing element.
CMF
Inspiration for the colors was the fresh summer ocean blues mixed with modern minimal design elements, brushed gunmetals, and steel blue IP plating.
Blue IP
Light blue IP plating was introduced. Overall more of a pricey option, but the pricing was ballanced by compromising on other components.
Assortment
Strong assortment was made, we covered the strong core color combinations, mixed with the seasonal flavor.
Lifestyle shots
Lifestyle shots showcase the product in both active and dressy situations, showing much flexibility for styling of the watches.

The watch stood up well in the watch design critics.
