Mental Health Awareness through Environmental Graphics

Mental Health awareness through Environmental Graphics
In this quick changing world where everything is just moving pass by it is very crucial to take a pause and look after our physical and mental health. It is very important that people break the mental health stigma and seek for help.
I have taken a facade of an old abandoned building lying empty right next to Navrangpura village, Ahmedabad. The building would serve as a communication means to the people living in the village and around the area. It was extremely necessary that people firstly accept the fact that there can be mental health problems. Only by accepting the problem, change could be brought. As the facade had beautiful windows I decided to design a graphic incorporating them.
Here faces are drawn in such a way that the windows of the building are placed in place of mind. This is to communicate that mind is like a window, it can open up to new ideas as well as problems. We need to accept it. The saying is written in Gujarati language keeping in mind the demography of the place. The saying translates in to english as "Open the window of mind. Many problems can be solved just by accepting them."
