The Sunset at Lake Tahoe

For the unusual occasion of this Independence's Day, a couple of friends and I planned a trip to Lake Tahoe for our holiday getaways. The following photographs were shot at various attractions at the Lake Tahoe areas, including Donner Memorial State Park, Cave Rock, and DL Bliss State Park.
The Donner Memorial State Park has a trail with great views of the lake. It's good for both a scenic walk or water sports.
After a short hike and a bit of rock climbing at Cave Rock, you will get to the top where you can get a good view of the entire Lake Tahoe. The second photo is the trail that leads to the very top, and yes, you have to climb those rocks to get to the peak.
DL Bliss State Park was the last stop of our trip. It's a moderate hike on the lighthouse trail to reach a vista point that give you another view of the entire lake. Then I found this little boat by the cove which became the subject of this photograph. I have to say they found themselves quite a nice private spot to enjoy their day.

Thanks all for view my photographs. I tried to bring out that brilliant, orange-red colors of the sunset, so let me know what you think.
