ZoneTips Brand Awareness Campaign

I came up with this brand-awareness campaign idea towards the end of Winter Quarter. It was inspired by the infamous "BroTips" that are already very popular and identifiable among college students. One of the biggest challenges we face at The Zone is attracting enough new people to actually come visit our space. Retention rate has not been much of an issue, gaining awareness and interest has been a struggle.

The purpose of this campaign is to simply spread awareness and create a consistent and recognizable brand identity throughout campus for The Zone.  ZoneTips include little quotes, snippets of advice, words of wisdom, and bites of inspiration (brainstormed by staff from all the different Health, Recreation and Well-being Cluster departments) -- all embodying the idea of the different dimensions of wellness (social, physical, mental, financial, etc.). One of the biggest ideas behind this campaign is not to promote our programs, but instead, to take a step back and help students understand more of who we are, what our mission is, why we do what we do.

These are a few samples. The design has been proven to be relatively versatile and easy to mass-produce -- thus far, they have been used for buttons, signs at festivals/special events, posters and give-aways. There are now more than 50 ZoneTips -- and counting!
