Experienced real estate broker Chad Link founded Elite Properties in Lacey, Washington, in 2014. When away from work, Chad Link enjoys surfing, traveling, and visiting Huntington Beach, California.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Huntington Beach is the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, which is a protected habitat for more than 200 bird species. The wetlands were first designated as a protected reserve in the 1990s, and have since been expanded to include more than 1,300 acres. After decades of exploitation, work to restore the reserve to its natural state began in 2004. Since then, more than 500 acres have been reclaimed as nesting sites.

Visitors can spot various rare bird species, including herons, white pelicans, and multiple owl varieties. The reserve is also home to indigenous birds such as egrets and sandpipers. On weekends, visitors can attend a free guided tour of the wetlands and learn more about the wildlife and ongoing conservation efforts.
